Forensic Science, Minor

éÙ×ÓÊÓƵ's forensic science minor focuses on applying science to legal problems. It complements the study of science, medicine or law.

Program Highlights

  • SLU's minor in forensic science requires a minimum of 21 credits, combining 13-15 credits of required courses and eight credits of electives.
  • SLU's forensic science faculty offersÌýthe academic and practical experience to deliver high-impact instruction and provide the tools to work for social justice in the spirit of Catholic, Jesuit education.
  • A minor in forensic science allows students to apply scientific principles to various career fields such as psychology, criminal justice, biology, and chemistry. The minor also provides students in the pre-law track with opportunities to learn about the role forensic science plays in court cases and the courtroom.Ìý
