éÙ×ÓÊÓƵProgram in Physical Therapy Assistant Professor Leads Team Developing Load Management App

Soccer and basketball are among the most popular sports in the United States, and participation in either one comes with many health-related benefits, but not without risk of injury. éÙ×ÓÊÓƵProgram in Physical Therapy Assistant Professor Olu Owoeye, BPT, MS, Ph.D., and a team of researchers across the university have developed RICHLoad – an app that aims to reduce injuries among college athletes through load management.

In addition to Dr. Owoeye, the other researchers include: Co-Investigators Dr. Jamil Neme, éÙ×ÓÊÓƵSchool of Medicine; Dr. Flavio Esposito, éÙ×ÓÊÓƵComputer Science; Dr. Anthony Breitbach, éÙ×ÓÊÓƵDoisy College of Health Sciences; Dr. Paula Buchanan, éÙ×ÓÊÓƵCenter for Health Outcomes Research; and Research Assistant Andy Florian Irakoze, éÙ×ÓÊÓƵComputer Science.
